Brendon Urie: “A journey must end for a new one to begin”
BRENDON URIE – The “Panic! At The Disco” frontman recently announced on social media that he decided to end the journey with the band after almost 20 years.
“Panic! at the Disco” is a pop-rock band that formed in Las Vegas in 2004.
Brendon announced on Instagram last Tuesday that the band will end after its forthcoming European tour. According to a report, the band’s final tour begins in Vienna on February 20, 2023 and concludes in Manchester, England on March 10, 2023.
In a statement posted on his social media post, he said that he and his wife are expecting their first child together and he’s going to put his focus and energy on his family.
“I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more,” Brendon said in a statement.
Brendon went on to thank supporters for their support through the years, saying that he looks forward to seeing them on the band’s last tour.

The band was formed when Brendon and co-founders Brent Wilson, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith were in high school. They officially released their debut album “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” the following year.
As the band’s line-up changed, “Panic! at the Disco” released 6 more albums.
According to a report, Brent was asked to leave the band and was replaced by Jon Walker. Jon was replaced by Dallon Weekes after he left to form a band with Ryan. Brendon and Spencer became the only two founding band members remaining until Spencer officially left the group last 2015.
Since then, P!ATD became Brendon’s solo project as he performed with various touring members. The group released “Viva Las Vengeance” album in 2022.
