Valerie Concepcion: “This lucky guy asked me if I can be his girlfriend.”
VALERIE CONCEPCION – The Kapuso actress recently took to social media to mark her and her husband’s 6th anniversary as a couple.
Valerie Concepcion and her husband Francis Sunga got engaged last August 2018 and got married in a garden wedding at The Hills in Silang, Cavite last December 28, 2019.
On Instagram, the actress marked the occasion by looking back at the time when she said yes to a guy 6 years ago.
In the caption, she shared that it was in 2017 when Francis asked her to be his girlfriend. At that time, she said she told herself that she didn’t want to be in a relationship but there’s an “instant connection” when she and Francis met.

According to her, she said yes to him just weeks after she met him.
“It felt like we’ve known each other forever. So when he asked me to be his gf just weeks after I met him, I said YES. And now, 6 years later, he’s still crazy about me. Jk.,” she wrote. “We’re still crazy about each other. Happy 6th, mon amour!“
It was last December 2022 when the couple celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary by having a romantic date at a restaurant in Guam.
In the caption of her post at that time, Valerie said that she was grateful because she has an “incredible other half” to grow old with. The actress went on to thank her partner for loving her the way that he did.
She also expressed her love for her husband to mark their special day at that time.
