Here’s the message of Darryl Yap to critics
DARRYL YAP – The controversial director took to social media wherein he slammed the critics who are disappointed at the role of Isko Moreno in the Maid In Malacanang sequel.
Yap is considered one of the most popular directors in the country today. He rose to stardom when he launched the Facebook page, Vincentiments, which he created together with his colleague and friend Vincent Asis.
The Facebook page boomed and currently has over 5 million followers. He is behind the hit movies and independent films such as #Jowable, Tililing and to name a few.
He’s also one of the staunch supporters of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio. One of his hit projects is the controversial film, Maid in Malacañang, a movie about the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace.
The movie will have a sequel titled “Martyr or Murderer”. It will revolve around the greatest accusation received by the Marcoses: that they were allegedly involved in the assassination of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. on Aug. 21, 1983.
It was just recently when Darryl Yap revealed that former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso will portray the role of “Ninoy Aquino” in the said movie.
Apparently, there were netizens who are allegedly angry or disappointed with Isko Moreno’s participation in the movie.
“Galit na naman kayo, di pa kayo magpasalamat, ang gwapo ng gaganap,” Yap said.
Meanwhile, Darryl Yap recently trended on the microblogging site, Twitter as netizens clamored for the role of Isko and the movie.
