Here’s the last live video of five hero rescuers from Bulacan who died after being swept away by a flash flood amid their rescue operation
BULACAN HERO RESCUERS – The last live video of the five (5) hero rescuers who died at a rescue operation in San Miguel, Bulacan on September 25 amid the onslaught of Typhoon Karding went viral.
The video was taken by one of the deceased rescuers, George Agustin, wherein they can be seen traveling on their way to their last mission.
“Standby na kami sa San Miguel, Bulacan… See you,” he said.
Apart from Agustin, the other rescuers who died were Narciso Calayag Jr., Troy Justin Agustin, Jerson Resurreccion, and Marby Bartolome.
The five rescuers were in Sitio Galas, Barangay Camias in San Miguel when a flash flood happened.
“While they were preparing the lifeboats, the flash flood rushed to their location and they were swept away by flash floods,” said Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando.
The five hero rescuers are members of the Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
The government is now preparing the award for the five hero rescuers who sacrificed their lives to save others.

Meanwhile, based on the last update of PAGASA, Typhoon Karding is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Eight (8) have been reported dead while three (3) are missing according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Five of them were the Bulacan hero rescuers while two were from Zambales and the other was from Quezon.
NDRRMC added that a total of 60,817 persons or 16,476 families were affected by the onslaught of Karding.
