Lei Jimenez Teases Late Husband Tado Over Photo with Robin Padilla
LEI JIMENEZ – The wife of Tado Jimenez gained attention on social media after joking about an old photo of her late husband together with Robin Padilla.
In a Facebook post, Lei playfully told her late husband to “wake up” and explain the photo to their children after it appeared in her social media memories. Many online users found the post funny because it came during the ongoing controversy involving Senator Robin Padilla. “Huy, amaaaaaaaa, bumangon ka diyan! Ikaw mag-explain nito sa mga anak mo hahahahahhahaha nasa memories ih hahahahahhahar!” she wrote.
The issue started after reports connected Robin Padilla to the alleged escape of fellow senator Ronald dela Rosa from authorities inside the Senate. The National Bureau of Investigation reportedly considered Padilla a person of interest in the incident. CCTV footage released by police on May 20 supposedly showed the two senators together in the Senate parking area before riding a white Toyota Fortuner said to be registered under Padilla’s name.

However, Robin Padilla denied helping Senator dela Rosa escape. He explained that many police officers were present inside and outside the Senate during the incident, and several CCTV cameras were also operating at the time. Because of this, he questioned why people were quickly assuming that they were escaping from authorities.
