However, as of now, there is no update on Geneva Lopez’s whereabouts.
It can be recalled that last year, Catherine Manguerra Camilon, a model, schoolteacher, and beauty pageant winner, went missing while driving from Tuy to Batangas City for a meeting. She was last seen on October 12, 2023, at XentroMall Lemery in Lemery, Batangas, and later contacted her mother from a gasoline station in Bauan. Witnesses reported seeing her unconscious and bleeding body being moved from her car to another vehicle, leading authorities to investigate her disappearance as a kidnapping.
The Philippine Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs, led by Senator Raffy Tulfo, issued a subpoena ad testificandum to Police Major Allan de Castro and his driver-bodyguard Jefrrey Magpantay, the main suspects accused of kidnapping and illegal detention. De Castro was subsequently dismissed from his position on January 16, 2024.
