Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas & Wife Talks about Love Story, Decision To Marry
BATANGAS GOVERNOR – Gov. Dodo Mandanas and his wife talked about their decision to marry after dating for nearly 3 months and their age gap.
Undeniably, the age gap between couples is usually one of the initial factors that people outside the relationship look at. That is why even Attorney Angelica Chua-Mandanas had thoughts about it when Gov. Dodo Mandanas first asked her on a Valentine’s date.
Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas recently tied the knot with the lawyer she did not only meet a few months ago but when she was just 7 years old. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Atty. Angelica Chua-Mandanas revealed that he was one of the guests at her 7th birthday celebration.
Then, the mother of Atty. Angelica Chua-Mandanas was the head of the provincial legal office during the gubernatorial term of Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas. After her 7th birthday, they did not meet for years until he sought the services of the firm wherein she’s a partner.
In February 2024, after months of professional relationship with the lawyer, the Governor asked her if he could be her date for Valentine’s. She required him to seek the permission of her parents. She admitted that she was anxious about their age gap, too.
Visibly, the prior months went well for Governor Dodo and the lawyer. She thought of the age gap but she could not let it outweigh the fact that he is her “ideal person”. She decided to pushed through with their relationship.
Based on the article, on the decision to marry after nearly three (3) months of dating, Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas explained that her attitude in life is not about delaying things.
“Bakit si Angelica? Why Not? Bakit madali? Why not? So in my life, that has been my attitude so to speak. Why not?” the Governor said.
According to the Governor, in case of making a mistake, you have to carry the consequences. On the part of his new wife, she believes in what many people have also said, “when you know, you know”.
