Elizabeth Oropesa opens up about past relationships with younger men
ELIZABETH OROPESA – The veteran actress recently discussed her past relationships with younger men, emphasizing that she has never been a sugar mommy to any of her ex-boyfriends.
In a media conference for the film “X & Y” on April 13, 2024, Oropesa revealed that she had two relationships with younger men, although she couldn’t recall their exact age difference. She emphasized that she wouldn’t date someone who looks like her son, highlighting the importance of physical appearance in her relationships.
Oropesa expressed that she always chose partners who were physically appealing and not noticeably younger to avoid any discomfort or embarrassment. Despite enjoying the companionship of younger men, Oropesa admitted that she struggled with public displays of affection (PDA), which often led to misunderstandings and eventual separations.
She firmly denied ever being a sugar mommy, citing the financial independence of her ex-boyfriends and their respectable backgrounds. Oropesa also addressed the notion of age in relationships, stating that she has learned from her experiences that women like her inevitably outgrow younger partners. She emphasized that the issue lies in emotional and intellectual compatibility rather than physical intimacy, as women typically don’t face challenges with arousal.
Reflecting on the differences between older and younger men, Oropesa noted that older partners tend to be more childish and demanding, whereas younger men may try to compensate by acting more mature.
Ultimately, Oropesa concluded that while there’s nothing wrong with having affairs with younger men, she has closed that chapter of her life and is no longer interested in pursuing relationships with them. The film “X & Y,” directed by Adolf Alix Jr., features Oropesa alongside Ina Raymundo and Will Ashley and is set to premiere in theaters on April 17, 2024.
