Cassy Legaspi speaks about videos of her with Darren Espanto
CASSY LEGASPI – The Kapuso TV host-actress denied uploading the video clips showing sweet moments between her and Kapamilya TV host-singer Darren Espanto on Facebook.
On Saturday, April 13, 2024, sweet videos of Cassy and Darren started flooding Cassy’s Facebook account. This followed their consecutive public admissions that there was no special relationship between them and that they were just close friends.
The videos garnered various reactions from netizens questioning why Cassy uploaded them amidst the intrigue surrounding her and Darren’s relationship. On her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 15, Cassy clarified that she wasn’t the one behind the uploading of the videos on her Facebook account.
She claimed that her account was hacked back in 2021, and she still hasn’t been able to recover or use it since then. This implies that the hacker who uploaded Cassy’s videos with Darren was using Cassy’s name and account for views.
“This Facebook account USED TO be mine, until I was hacked in 2021. So to clear things up, this account is currently IS HACKED and NOT HANDLED BY ME.,” Cassy told her fans, along with a screenshot of her former Facebook account. The daughter of Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi also appealed to report this account to prevent its misuse by others. Cassy said, “would like to ask for help to report this account, thank you all so much [pray sign emoji].”
Cassy also showed her new Facebook account, which currently has 52K followers. Presently, Cassy is being linked to her former co-host in Tahanang Pinakamasaya, Michael Sager.
