Tahanang Pinakamasaya – Last Scenes Before the Closing of TAPE’s Noontime Show

Last Scenes Before Closing of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’

TAHANANG PINAKAMASAYA – The last scenes before the closing of the noontime show have resurfaced on social media.

“Tahanang Pinakamasaya!” was a variety show aired on weekdays and Saturdays, rebranded from “Eat Bulaga!” due to a trademark dispute. The dispute stemmed from an internal conflict within Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc.’s management, resulting in the resignation of hosts and production members from “Eat Bulaga!”

The show resumed with new hosts and segments after the dispute was resolved. However, due to low ratings, it ended effective March 8, 2024. The hosts included Paolo Contis, Isko Moreno, Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya, Cassy Legaspi, Mavy Legaspi, and others, featuring various segments like “Kaya Mo Yan!”, “G sa Gedli”, and “Duet For Love”.

Recently, the last scenes before the closing of “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” resurfaced online. In the video, the cast, crew, and hosts couldn’t help but turn emotional as they bid goodbye to each other. Watch the video below:

Apparently, TAPE Inc. did not disclose the real reason behind the shutdown of their noontime show. They only noted that despite their best efforts to save the show, they have reached a mutual agreement to finally call off the show. The production company is referring to their partnership with GMA Network.

The Kapuso Network, on the other hand, expressed appreciation for TAPE’s partnership over the years and acknowledged the difficult decision to end “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.” They thanked TAPE for its significant contribution to noontime programming and expressed gratitude with the phrase, “Maraming salamat, Kapuso.”

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that Willie Revillame may replace the canceled noontime show. GMA Network is reportedly considering options between “It’s Showtime” and “TiktoClock” to fill the void left by the axed show. During an episode of “Showbiz Now Na,” speculation arose about Willie’s potential return to GMA to fill the slot. While some believe it’s plausible given the need for a replacement, others, like Wendell Alvarez, think it’s unlikely due to Willie’s rumored plans to run for senator. Cristy Fermin supported this argument, suggesting that GMA might not choose Willie as the host for a new program due to his commitments with other networks.
