Here’s VP Sara Duterte’s Reaction On Senate Probe VS Pastor Quiboloy
SARA DUTERTE – Vice President Sara Duterte reacted to the Senate investigation against Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Apollo Carreon Quiboloy.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is presently under Senate investigation for accusations of mistreatment towards women and children. Additionally, he is confronting multiple legal charges in the United States, which encompass offenses such as Conspiracy to Engage in S*x Trafficking by Force, Fraud, and Coercion, S*x Trafficking of Children, S*x Trafficking by Force, Fraud, and Coercion, Conspiracy, and Bulk Cash Smuggling.
Sara Duterte dismissed the current probe into the alleged misconduct of televangelist Apollo Quiboloy as nothing more than a “trial by publicity.” She characterized the investigation as a type of “violence,” asserting that many view it as “unfair.”
Sara Duterte emphasized that allegations against the self-proclaimed “Appointed Son of God” should be addressed through legal channels in a court of law.
Sara Duterte, the daughter of ex-president Rodrigo Duterte and the current caretaker of Quiboloy’s assets, voiced these statements in response to Senator Risa Hontiveros’ suggestion for the issuance of an arrest warrant against the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) for his failure to attend hearings conducted by her panel.
Hontiveros, in her role as the head of the Senate committee on women, children, family relations, and gender equality, has been leading an investigation into Quiboloy’s alleged offenses, including charges of r*pe and abuse.
“Lagi po tayong manalangin para sa hustisya at katotohanan. Justice and the truth cannot be achieved in trial by publicity, but by a day in court,” Sara also said.
