RACHEL ALEJANDRO – The singer-actress expressed her willingness to portray former Vice President Leni Robredo in a biopic film.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, she responded positively to netizens who noted her resemblance to Robredo, considering it a compliment. Rachel admired and respected Robredo, finding it flattering to be compared to her.

“How do I feel about being compared to VP Leni? I admire her, I respect her, and I think he’s very pretty so it’s definitely a compliment para sa akin para sabihin nila na kahawig ko siya,” she said. “How would I feel about portraying her in a biopic? Definitely. Kung meron man, count me in, I would love that… I would love to play VP Leni Robredo in any film that might be in works in the future,” she added.

She stated her eagerness to play Robredo in any future film about her life. However, it’s unclear if any such movie is in development. Robredo, who lost the 2022 presidential race to Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., faced rumors of a potential political comeback in 2025, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
