A follower of Quiboloy compared him to Jesus Christ

QUIBOLOY – The so-called “Appointed Son of God” was compared to Jesus Christ, who died 2000 years ago.

Apollo Quiboloy is a religious leader and the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Inc., commonly known as the Quiboloy movement or simply KJC. He claims to be the “Appointed Son of God” and the “Owner of the Universe” within his religious organization.

Quiboloy has gained significant attention in the Philippines and internationally due to his charismatic leadership and controversial teachings. He has been involved in various legal and political controversies, including allegations related to his organization’s activities, which have led to investigations and legal actions against him.

Recently, the Senate, led by Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, has signed the order for the arrest of Quiboloy, citing his repeated refusal to attend hearings and his delaying tactics through legal representation.

Despite the pressing issues faced by the religious leader and televangelist, he still has the support of his members. Earlier, a certain Graziel Luise took to social media wherein she compared what’s happening to Quiboloy to what happened to Jesus Christ 2000 years ago.

According to her, like Jesus Christ is being betrayed, sold for a huge amount of money, and accused of something he never did. The follower of Quiboloy noted that although their leader did not go through physical torture, what “people” were doing was clearly “torturing” him.

Graziel Luise lamented why Quiboloy had to go through injustices of the people in power as if he was “walking on the road to Calvary carrying a cross.” In the last part of her post, she noted: “But this is what they did not know… The Son of Man came for the second time not to be crucified but to be GLORIFIED.”

Her post continues to become viral, garnering mixed reactions from the netizens sharing what they said to be a “blasphemy.”
