Place a pot over high heat and boil three (3) cups of water to boil. Add the glutinous rice and cook it for around five (5) minutes. Make sure to stir the rice occassionally.

Add the cocoa powder in a cup of warm water. Make sure that all lumps are gone. Add the cocoa mixture into the pot of rice and continue cooking the rice until it gets thicker.

Switch the heat to medium low. Add sugar and stir the rice occassionally to prevent it from sticking at the bottom of the pot. If it gets too thick but the rice is not yet cooked, you can add more water.

Once the glutinous rice is cooked, you can remove it from heat and transfer it into a serving bowl. Add some evaported milk on top and your delicious Champorado is ready for serving. Enjoy!
