Vice Ganda Takes a Jab at the Government: “They used to study unity, now division”

Vice Ganda Throws Shade at Duterte-Marcos Rift

VICE GANDA – The Unkabogable Comedian made a witty comment regarding what the Philippine government is currently studying.

In the episode of It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids on Tuesday, January 30, Karylle asked a Grade 4 student contestant about what they were studying in his favorite subject, Math.

“Division,” replied the contestant. “Division. They also study that in the government. Division of the government. Division. They used to study unity, now division,” Vice quipped. “Grade 1, unity. Grade 2, division,” he added.

It’s worth noting that on Sunday, January 28, the government held the “Bagong Pilipinas” kick-off rally at Quirino Grandstand, while the Duterte family also conducted a Prayer rally against Charter Change (Cha-Cha) in Davao City.

During the prayer rally in Davao City on Sunday, former President Rodrigo Duterte lashed out at President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. calling him a “drug addict.” The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), however, denied that Marcos is on their drug watchlist.

After the remarks against him, Marcos insisted that former President Duterte may have made those statements due to his alleged use of “fentanyl.”

Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte told Marcos that he is “lazy” and lacks “compassion” as the country’s chief executive. In addition, the mayor asserted that Marcos should resign from the presidency if he does not have love for the Philippines. In relation to this, Vice President Duterte released an official statement on Monday responding to Mayor Baste’s call for Marcos to resign as president.

Based on the latest report, Duterte has dared PBBM to undergo drug test in public to prove that he is not a drug user. “Set it in Luneta Park, magpakuha siya ng dugo doon [from] independent entity or doctor. Magpakuha rin ako, sige pati ako. Pakuha siya ng blood test,” he said in a press briefing in Davao City on Tuesday.
