Sarah Lahbati on Annabelle Rama: “Ahm… Masaya… Parang hindi ako siguro?”
SARAH LAHBATI – An interview of the wife of Richard Gutierrez with Vice Ganda, in which she described her relationship with her mother-in-law, Annabelle Rama, has resurfaced.
It was just recently when Rama, a talent manager, made headlines after she hinted in an interview with showbiz reporter MJ Felipe that something was going on regarding Richard and Sarah’s marriage. According to Annabelle, Richard and his kids are now staying at her house and will relocate after Christmas.
She also expressed some furious words toward Sarah, although she did not directly mention her. At one point, she revealed, “Si Richard trabaho nang trabaho, ‘yung isa nagwawaldas ng pera.” Apparently, Annabelle earned backlash because of her revelations. Social media personality Xian Gaza even called her “biyenang pakialamera”.
On Instagram, she retaliated and stressed that the truth will be revealed in due time. “Baka ma-shock kayo at hindi na ako ang lalabas na kontrabida. Malalaman niyo kung sino ang walang-hiya na kontrabida,” she said. According to her, she did not want her son and Sarah to get separated. “Basta ako ayaw ko silang mag-hiwalay. Dahil mahal ko ang mga apo ko.”
Amidst the discussion on this issue, an interview of Sarah Lahbati with Vice Ganda has resurfaced. In the interview, she humorously expressed uncertainty about whether she was happy being with Annabelle. However, she clarified that Annabelle’s private demeanor with her family differed from the public perception.
When Vice asked, “Si Tita Annabelle, kamusta siya bilang, ano, biyenan?” Sarah replied, “Ahm… Masaya… Parang hindi ako siguro?” Vice playfully followed up with, “Oh my Gahd! Hindi, ka sure?” Sarah further clarified, “Sobrang bait ni Tita Annabelle, sobrang sweet niya… Kung ano nakikita niyo sa TV, kung tumatalak siya, hindi siya gano’n.”
Meanwhile, Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez were rumored to have broken up. However, the two had yet to speak up on their current status.
