Joshua Garcia reacts to fake news about breakup of KathNiel
JOSHUA GARCIA – The Kapamilya actor reacted strongly to the false information claiming that he scolded Daniel Padilla for cheating on Kathryn Bernardo.
Joshua is known to be a close friend of both Daniel and Kathryn. According to the post on December 9, 2023, Joshua supposedly betrayed Daniel when he gave a statement revealing that Daniel truly has a relationship with Andrea Brillantes. The latter is being pointed to by many netizens as the reason for the breakup between Daniel and Kathryn.
The post also claimed that Joshua is on Kathryn’s side because he knows that Daniel is the one at fault.
The post reads (published as is), “JOSHUA INILAGLAG SI DANIEL PADILLA. Joshua Garcia alam pala lahat ng kalokohan ni Daniel Padilla, si Joshua ang pinalit ni Daniel kay Dominic. Sorry bro Dj, but this time I’ll go for Kath. Matagal na kitang sinabihan na ayusin mo yung ginagawa mo at yung relasyon niyo ni Kath, pero hindi ka nakinig at tinuloy mo yung mga kalokohang ginagawa niyo ni Andrea. The post was even linked to the Philippine Entertainment Portal, making it appear legitimate even though PEP.ph did not report such information. This quickly reached Joshua when a netizen tagged him on X (formerly Twitter) this Monday, December 11, with a screenshot of the mentioned Facebook post.
The netizen who drew Joshua’s attention said, “@iamjoshuagarcia oh andami nauto mga tao nga nman, hindi talaga maiwasan na madami parin ang mga uto uto! Mga madali paikutin ng fake news how sad haha.” Joshua immediately reposted it with a short caption, “FAKE NEWS!”
