On Tuesday, internet personality and vocal Duterte supporter Jessica Ann “Jam” Magno turned herself over to the Butuan City police station. She surrendered under a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ali Joseph Ryan Chiong Lloren of the Cagayan de Oro Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 37.

This was in connection to the alleged violation of RA 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act (VAWC). Eventually, Magno was granted temporary liberty after posting a bail of P72,000.

In a Facebook post, Jam Magno explained why she was smiling in her mugshot. According to her, she’s smiling because she was “NOT guilty.” She also stressed that she was not arrested but rather surrendered. She’s also proud that she did not ask for a discount in posting her bail.

She even thanked the Butuan City Police Station 4 for the “wonderful experience,” noting that she “actually loved it.” She also expressed her gratitude to the Barangay Captain of Barangay Ampayon for the fast processing of her bail.
