Venus Raj and her non-showbiz partner tied the knot.
VENUS RAJ – The former beauty queen tied the knot with her non-showbiz partner North Orillan on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
This, after the Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up posted a prenup video of themselves on her social media account on Tuesday with captions “Today is the day that the Lord has made” and “12.12.23”.
The wedding was held at the multi-purpose Hall, Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) Center in Pasig.
Venus Raj and North Orillan’s wedding day was captured by photographers Pat Dy, Nelwin Uy, and Chissai Bautista and shared some wedding photos on their respective Instagram accounts.
As seen in the photos, the former beauty looked regal in a classic white wedding gown designed by renowned fashion designer Francis Libiran while her non-showbiz partner looked dapper in a light gray tuxedo set that is accentuated with a bow tie and a white boutonniere.
Venus and North chose two special hashtags in celebration of their love and union: #GodPointedVenustoNorth and #NorthLandedonVenus. Those hashtags symbolize their connection that brought them into each other’s lives.
Prior to their wedding, Venus surprised her followers by posting pre-wedding photos with her non-showbiz partner on her social media account. At that time, she said she and her partner have a future ahead of them.
“My prayer is that, together, we will journey towards God’s will in fulfilling His purpose for our union. We pray to glorify and honor Him in our lives,” she said in the caption of her Instagram post at that time.

Venus completed her master’s degree in community development at the University of the Philippines in 2017 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Bicol University.
The former beauty queen graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) in Oxford, England in 2021.
