VENUS RAJ – After announcing that she’s set to marry “in a few days”, the Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up clarified that photographer Nelwin Uy is not her boyfriend.
On Instagram Stories, Venus told the media to get their facts straight and said that Nelwin is their photographer and not her boyfriend. The former beauty queen went on to apologize to the photographer and his family for the confusion.
“Media friends, kindly get your facts straight. Mr. Nelwin Uy is our photographer, NOT MY BOYFRIEND!” she said. “Apologies to Sir @nelwinuy and his family for the confusion.”

VENUS RAJ – The Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up announced that she’s set to marry her non-showbiz partner “in a few days”.
The former beauty queen announced this when she posted a series of pre-wedding photos with her non-showbiz partner which was taken in Zambales and she also wrote a lengthy caption in her post. She didn’t mention and tag her partner in her post.
According to her, God allowed her to be single for 8 years and she has never entered into a romantic relationship since she has fully surrendered her life to Jesus. She added that she asked God to protect her heart and to also keep it until the right man comes.
Venus shared that the Lord brought her to “a beautiful journey of grace, joy, learning, trials, challenges, loneliness, and victories”.
The former beauty queen also said that she has devoted her single years in serving the Lord, serving communities, and serving her family in the process, adding that God is the giver of good gifts.
Without mentioning the name of her non-showbiz partner, she described him as a “man of God”. She went on to share that she’ll be spending the rest of her life with him that her Father has brought her to “in a few days”.
Venus then said that she and her partner have a future ahead of them, adding that it will not be perfect but God is the anchor that will keep secure.
“My prayer is that, together, we will journey towards God’s will in fulfilling His purpose for our union. We pray to glorify and honor Him in our lives,” she said in the caption of her social media post.
