Ricci Rivero should do the laundry instead of watching UP games according to a netizen
RICCI RIVERO – The basketball player reacted to a critic who advised him to focus on doing laundry instead of watching UP games.
Rivero is a professional basketball player currently affiliated with the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He initially gained recognition for his performance while playing for the De La Salle Green Archers during his first two years in collegiate basketball. His outstanding performance in the UAAP Season 80 men’s basketball tournament not only earned him a spot in the Mythical Five but also the Most Improved Player award.
In April 2018, Rivero made a significant decision to leave the De La Salle Green Archers to concentrate on his involvement with Gilas Pilipinas. Shortly afterward, in May 2018, he revealed that he would transfer to join the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons. Rivero made his debut for UP starting in Season 82 of the UAAP.
Beyond his basketball prowess, Rivero is also recognized as an actor, with his first appearance in the MMFF film “Otlum.” He also became a permanent host of Brightlight Productions’ “Sunday Noontime Live!” in 2020, although he later announced a break from acting to prioritize his studies and basketball.
Ricci Rivero was previously in a relationship with actress Andrea Brillantes. However, they decided to end their relationship just over a year after dating. At the height of their breakup, Andrea mentioned in an interview an issue involving an ex-boyfriend whom she did not name. According to her, her ex had not done the laundry for a year.
Some netizens alleged that she was referring to Rivero. Despite the criticism he received due to the issue, he remained silent until a recent comment from a critic. In the comment, the critic said: “MAGLABA KA NALANG PLS WAG KA NA MANOOD NG UP GAMES.” The remark was accompanied by a Spongebob Squarepants GIF.
In response, Ricci Rivero addressed the critic by saying: “ah wala pumapansin sayo sa bahay kaya dito ka hahanap ng papansin? Lol as bida bida.”
