Catherine Camilon’s Sister Posts Open Letter After Person of Interest Was Identified

Sister of Catherine Camilon pens open letter as cops identify person of interest in her case

CATHERINE CAMILON – The sister of the missing Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate penned an open letter as the authorities identified the person of interest in her case.

Catherine, who has been missing since mid-October, was last seen at a mall in Lemery, Batangas, on October 12. Ten days later, the Calabarzon Police Regional Office announced they had identified a person of interest in her disappearance, who, as of October 26, was revealed to be a police officer allegedly in a relationship with Catherine.

This officer was supposed to meet Catherine on the day she disappeared and provided her with the vehicle she was last seen in, a Nissan Juke. The police officer has been relieved of duty pending an investigation.

In response to these developments, Catherine’s sister, Chin-Chin Camilon, shared an open letter dedicated to her missing sister. In the letter, Chin-Chin expressed her commitment to finding Catherine and her unchanging love for her, emphasizing that people make mistakes, and their actions don’t define them. She also addressed the judgments of others and reiterated her love and waiting for Catherine’s return.

Chin-Chin also dispelled speculations of a “fight” between them and shared screenshots of their conversations, demonstrating her love and concern for Catherine. Here’s the open letter:

Nag iintay
lang ako sa pagbalik mo. At mahal na mahal kita
palagi”
