Here’s what you need to know about Collectible Expressions on Reddit
WHAT ARE COLLECTIBLE EXPRESSIONS ON REDDIT? – This article will teach you about the new feature that’s recently introduced on the platform.
Reddit has officially launched the Collectible Expressions feature on the platform. As announced in the r/CollectibleAvatars subreddit, this feature brings your Collectible Avatars to life.
As of this writing, you can view the expressions in the comments section of users’ posts on both mobile and on new Reddit. However, you can only comment with an expression on a mobile device.
But what are Collectible Expressions?
Collectible Expressions are animated version of Collectible Avatars and also a new way for users to express themselves in the comments section of any post in communities where moderators enable the said feature.
This feature is free to use for users who own any free or paid Collectible Avatar and have it equipped as their profile avatar. In addition, this feature is available in both Safe For Work (SFW) and Not Safe For Work (NSFW) communities.
Keep in mind that you can only comment with an expression on Android and iOS device and you need to make sure that you have a collectible avatar in your vault. The ability to comment with an expression on desktop is coming soon.

In order for you to use this feature, you can choose from a library of expressions created by the platform in a post’s comments section.
Aside from launching the said feature, Reddit also officially released 4 new exclusive Collectible Avatars – Upbots, Downdrips, Award Hoarders, and Lambeosauruses – available to claim for free so you can start using the new feature.
