CARLO AQUINO – The actor’s performance at Miss Bacolod Masskara 2023 has gone viral on social media.
Carlo is a highly acclaimed actor and musician. He started as a child actor and later gained stardom as a teen actor in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He began as an exclusive contract star of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and later expanded his career by appearing in shows on the rival station GMA Network as a contract artist under GMA Artist Center.
Carlo had a notable on-screen romance with Angelica Panganiban during their teenage years, and their friendship endured even after their romantic relationship ended. He has also been in relationships with Camille Prats and Maja Salvador. Meanwhile, Yvonne Catamco, a Tourism Management student, won the title of Miss Bacolod MassKara 2023 at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod. She impressed the judges and the audience with her response during the final Q&A round, expressing that the people of Bacolod, known as the “super city,” embody the spirit of resilience, optimism, and unity, making them “super people.” Catamco also received the Best in Swimwear award and a grand prize of P150,000.
Other winners included Tracy Mae Sunio as the first runner-up and Elli Rose Elola as the second runner-up, who also received the Best in Evening Gown and Darling of the Social Media awards. The event featured Senator Raffy Tulfo and Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2009 Bianca Manalo as judges.
