Actress Julia Barretto responded to marriage rumors with Gerald Anderson
JULIA BARRETTO – Here’s what the actress said when she responded to marriage rumors with her boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson.
The actress shot down marriage rumors with her boyfriend, saying that she and her boyfriend haven’t tied the knot.
On the sidelines of the Preview Ball, Julia said in an interview with reporters that there’s no secret to reveal as there was yet no engagement to begin with. She added that there’s no such thing as that.
The actress also said that it’s hard to have secrets in a world where news travels fast nowadays. According to her, she and her boyfriend are just really happy where they are in life.
“Sobrang excited [niyo]. Bakit niyo ba kami minamadali?” she said in an interview with reporters. “You know, we’re just really happy where we are in life. It’s something to look forward to, pero bakit niyo ba kami minamadali?”
Aside from this, Julia explained that one should not be asked about getting married “constantly,” as it is something that will be shared “when the two people are ready”. She added that she feels like “when the time comes, it comes”.

Julia then reached the tipping point when she was asked about her boyfriend’s encounter with Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez. It can be recalled that actress Maja Salvador used to be the girlfriend of actor Gerald Anderson.
“Oh my goodness, Madame. That’s not the event for this. Ba-bye,” the actress said to one of the reporters in an interview before she walked away.
Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez got married in a grand wedding ceremony in Bali, Indonesia last July 31, 2023. But the actress said in an interview with Preview that they got married in a civil wedding at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig last February 14, 2023.
