Actress Maja Salvador and her husband Rambo Nuñez turned out to be married since February 2023.
MAJA SALVADOR – The actress recently revealed that she and her husband Rambo Nuñez got married in a civil wedding ceremony prior to their wedding in Bali, Indonesia.
It can be recalled that the couple got engaged in April 2022 and held a grand wedding ceremony in Bali, Indonesia on July 31, 2023. The couple are set to have their honeymoon in Europe.
But in an interview with Preview, the actress said that she and her husband tied the knot in a civil wedding last February 14, 2023 at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig.
The actress said that she and her husband were supposed to tie the knot once since they chose to hold a destination wedding, but the Philippines doesn’t honor their wedding in Bali, Indonesia.
Maja also shared that “no more than 60 people” were present on their special day at that time, adding that they hosted a private dinner party for their relatives and close friends as well. She confessed that it was “difficult” to keep their secret wedding under wraps, especially now that everything is digital and everyone can be the paparazzi.
The actress revealed that Rambo Nuñez promised her to bring her “dream wedding” to life prior to getting married, saying that she wanted her wedding ceremony to be “set on the shores of a beach”.
“‘Yung nakita ko ’yung invitation, my gowns, my shoes, parang andun ’yung [feeling na] mangyayari na talaga. Sinabi ni Rambo na, ‘I’ll give you the best wedding, your dream wedding.’ It’s really happening, talagang bibigay niya,” Maja said.
She also got sentimental during the interview with Preview as she admitted that she would be a good mom to her future children. According to her, she doesn’t want to experience what her mother had been through.
