Here’s the tribute message of Aga Muhlach to his talent manager Ethel Ramos
AGA MULACH – The actor took to social media to share a heartfelt message in memory of the late veteran entertainment columnist and talent manager, Ethel Ramos, who passed away at the age of 87 on Sunday. Fondly referred to as “Manay Ethel” by her colleagues, Muhlach expressed his deep appreciation and the profound connection they shared over the years.
In his Instagram post, Muhlach bid farewell to Manay Ethel, acknowledging their remarkable 30-year journey filled with love, laughter, arguments, gossip, dreams, and hard work. He expressed his sense of loss and gratitude, highlighting their conversations about death, which had prepared them both for this moment. He reflected on the inevitability of death, saying, “Lahat naman tayo dadating diyan”.
Aga Muhlach conveyed his affection for Manay Ethel and the lasting impact she had on his life, emphasizing that her memory would always reside in his heart. He requested prayers for those left behind and assured them that although they were hurting and sad, they would find the strength to carry on. He concluded by acknowledging her reunion with the creator and signed the message as “Your son, Aga,” expressing his deep connection to her.
Manay Ethel’s passing, often referred to as the “Dean of Entertainment Writers,” was confirmed by her niece, Farah Ramos. She had been a talent manager for several stars, including Angel Locsin. Colleagues in the entertainment industry, as well as entertainment writers and vloggers, also expressed their condolences and sadness.
Farah Ramos shared that Manay Ethel’s remains would be in Room 301 of the Nacional Chapels and Crematory at Araneta Avenue until Wednesday, September 13, with the cremation scheduled for Thursday, September 14.
