Zeinab Harake Reacts After Being Blamed for Boyfriend Bobby Ray Parks Jr. Not Being Able to Play in FIBA

Here’s the reaction of Zeinab Harake after being blamed for her boyfriend not being able to play in the 2023 FIBA World Cup

ZEINAB HARAKE – The social media personality expressed her frustration towards those who blamed her for her boyfriend, Bobby Ray Parks Jr., not being able to play in FIBA.

Parks Jr. is a Filipino-American professional basketball player who plays for the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins in the Japanese B.League. It was just last year when he took part in the 2022 FIBA Asia Cup. He was expected to play in the ongoing FIBA games. However, he did not make it onto the roster of the Philippines men’s national basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas.

Among the current players of Gilas Pilipinas are Kiefer Ravena, Jordan Clarkson, Scottie Thompson, Kai Sotto, Jamie Malonzo, June Mar Fajardo, Roger Pogoy, CJ Perez, Rhenz Abando, Dwight Ramos, Japeth Aguilar, and A. J. Edu.

Due to Bobby Ray’s non-participation in the team, some basketball fans placed blame on his girlfriend, Zeinab Harake. This prompted her to react to the criticisms she has been receiving, especially being blamed for her boyfriend’s absence in the FIBA World Cup.

According to Zeinab, she has already made many sacrifices, which is why they decided to fully enjoy their vacation in Bohol. During her Instagram live session, Zeinab emphasized that it’s not fair for her to be blamed as she supports Ray in his basketball career. She mentioned that she works every day, and they hardly get to spend time together because Ray is also busy with his basketball preparations.

Ray clarified that there’s nothing wrong with him having a life outside of basketball. “Wala namang masama na magkaroon ng buhay outside of basketball,” he said. They also shared that Ray is on his way back to Japan and Zeinab will visit him there when she has the time.

Meanwhile, Gilas Pilipinas has suffered its second loss in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The Philippines men’s national basketball team was first defeated by the Dominican Republic, followed by Angola.
