Robi Domingo: “Ako ang groomzilla ngayon.”
ROBI DOMINGO – The Kapamilya host said that he and his fiancée Maiqui Pineda will push through with their wedding as scheduled.
On Wednesday, Robi Domingo was introduced as the game master of PIE Channel’s new show “Watchawin”. This show will premiere on PIE Channel on September 11, 2023 at 8:15 pm.
“Watchawin” is a game that tests one’s attention to detail and observation skills. Each week, up to PHP 60,000 are up for grabs for eagle-eyed online KaTroPIEs who answer correctly using their devices.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other members of entertainment media at the sidelines of PIE Channel’s media and trade Conference in Quezon City on Wednesday, the Kapamilya host said that he and his fiancée talked about marriage.
Robi also admitted that he’s the one who told his fiancée that they should delay the wedding “nang konti” because of her condition. However, he said he cried when his fiancée told him “Don’t. Give me something to hope for”.
The Kapamilya host also said that he became a “groomzilla” because he’s doing the work for their upcoming wedding while his fiancée is focusing on her health.
In the same interview, Robi Domingo also gave an update about Maiqui’s health condition. It can be recalled that Maiqui Pineda revealed in her social media post and her blog that she’s battling a rare autoimmune disease.
According to the Kapamilya host, his fiancée is now getting better and she can walk properly.
“Just looking at her and her progress, ‘yun ang nagbibigay ng lakas sa akin na, ah okay lumalaban siya. … Mas iyakin talaga ako,” he said. “Now, we have accepted the fact that we have a working prognosis, not just in terms of her health pero how we could fix our relationship, not just with us but with the Lord.“
