CASH IN THROUGH ONLINE BANKING

You can cash in from your preferred bank’s website or app using InstaPay. GCash’s partner banks that use InstaPay may incur “service fees” that vary per bank. As of this writing, the fintech company is partnered with more than 40 banks.

Cashing in through PayPal, on the other hand, is free of charge.

CASH IN THROUGH OVER-THE-COUNTER OUTLETS

Cashing in through over-the-counter outlets is free until you reach a monthly limit of PHP 8,000. A “service fee” of 2% will apply each time you cash in after reaching the monthly limit.

The fee will then be deducted automatically from the amount you cashed into your wallet. Keep in mind that the monthly cash in limit refreshes on the first day of each month.

CASH IN THROUGH REMITTANCE

Receiving remittance on your GCash app is free of charge. You can receive your remittance by claiming it though GCash app with a MoneyGram or Western Union reference code or by having the sender remit the funds directly to your GCash wallet.

Keep in mind that receiving remittances is for Fully Verified GCash users only.
