Gabbi Garcia: “My first show was actually an accidental role only”
GABBI GARCIA – The “Unbreak My Heart” actress recently shared that her role in her first show “My Destiny” was an “accidental role only”.
The actress is currently part of the main cast of ABS-CBN and GMA Network’s collaboration “Unbreak My Heart” alongside Joshua Garcia, Richard Yap, and Jodi Sta. Maria.
But in a recent interview on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel” podcast, she revealed that her role in her first show was supposed to be a cameo.
According to the actress, her role as Nicole Perez in “My Destiny” was supposed to be a cameo and was an “accidental role only”. She also said that the biggest blessing she received would be her first show.
“Siguro the biggest blessing pa rin would be talaga my first show, kasi if it wasn’t my first show, syempre hindi naman ako makakapag-Enca din,” she said. “My first show kasi was ‘My Destiny,’ ano siya talaga sobrang surprise siya kasi I was supposed to have a cameo role lang.”
To recall, it was in 2016 when GMA Network’s fantasy TV series “Encantadia” had a remake that starred Gabbi Garcia as the new Alena. She shared in a YouTube video that Encantadia was one of the most memorable projects she has ever done.
Gabbi added that that her role in “My Destiny” was just supposed to give way to opening a new plot in the story, but her character was prolonged until it became a regular one in the show. She went on to tell the podcast host that she guessed her character worked or the angels aligned for her.
Aside from this, the actress shared in an interview on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel” podcast that her relationship with her boyfriend Khalil Ramos is “not always easy”.
