CHED SCHOLARSHIP COURSES – Here are the Business and Management courses that you may take if you are a scholar of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
There are a lot of Filipino students who are determined to finish their studies but they are not financially privileged enough that makes them lessen their confidence in graduating from college. Meanwhile, there are options that you can turn to — including scholarship offers.
In the Philippines, there are several public and private entities that offer scholarships to poor but deserving students. One of these entities is the Commission on Higher Education or more popularly called CHED, the governing body among the colleges and universities in the country.
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship under CHED, the student must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- a Filipino citizen
- Graduating high school student or high school graduate with a general average General Weighted Average (GWA)
- For Full State Scholarship Program (FSSP) and Full Private Education Student Financial Assistance (FPESPA), GWA must be 96% or above.
- For Half-SSP and Half-PESPA, GWA must be 93% but not more than 95%.
- Must have a combined annual gross income of parents/guardian which does not exceed Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP 400,000), or in cases where the income exceeds PhP 400,000 an applicant must present written certification or medical findings of illness of a family member, or school certifications of two or more dependents enrolled in college;
- Avail of only one government-funded financial assistance program.
