Guide on CHED Scholarship Courses Related in Social Science Field
CHED SCHOLARSHIP COURSES – Here are the Social Science courses that you may take if you are a scholar of the Commission on Higher Education.
Both public and private entities in the Philippines offer scholarship programs to help the underprivileged but deserving students finish their tertiary education. One of the state institutions that has scholars is the Commission on Higher Education, more popularly called CHED.
A lot of Filipinos managed to finish their college education by being a CHED scholar. They receive an allowance from the Commission which greatly helped them get through their tertiary education.
Are you planning to apply as a scholar of CHED? Here are the eligibility criteria:
- a Filipino citizen
- Graduating high school student or high school graduate with a general average General Weighted Average (GWA)
- For Full State Scholarship Program (FSSP) and Full Private Education Student Financial Assistance (FPESPA), GWA must be 96% or above.
- For Half-SSP and Half-PESPA, GWA must be 93% but not more than 95%.
- Must have a combined annual gross income of parents/guardian which does not exceed Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP 400,000), or in cases where the income exceeds PhP 400,000 an applicant must present written certification or medical findings of illness of a family member, or school certifications of two or more dependents enrolled in college;
- Avail of only one government-funded financial assistance program.
