YOUNG JV – Singer-actor Young JV and his non-showbiz partner held a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their first child.
It was last May 2023 when the singer-actor, born Eduardo JV Kapunan, announced on his social media account that he and his partner Shaine Rizelle Macela are expecting their first child.
At that time, fellow celebrities congratulated him in the comments section of his post — including Benj Manalo and CJ Navato.
The actor recently posted on Instagram a series of photos from the baby shower held at Sitio Elena Events Venue in Cainta, Rizal. As seen in one of the photos posted on the singer-actor’s Instagram account, the baby shower held last July 6, 2023.
In the caption of his social media post, he said that he and his partner held their “very first” baby shower.

His non-showbiz partner, for her part, posted a compilation video from the baby shower on her social media account and also shared that they’re cherishing those precious moments.
PUSH reported that Young JV and his partner are expecting a “baby boy” and they named him “Caleb”.
Prior to his current relationship, the actor dated former PBB housemate Miho Nishida and they broke up in late 2018 after several years of being together. He said in an interview with PEP last 2019 that he would rather date someone who is not part of the showbiz industry.
“Hindi naman sa ayaw, but gusto ko lang siguro ito, alam mo yun, maiba lang yung mundo ko sa kanyang mundo para less stress,” he said at that time. “Being private kasi, less stress.“
