Sabrina M taps free legal assistance lawyers
SABRINA M – The actress braces for a legal battle amidst threats of the camp of actress Claudine Barretto.
The actress, whose real name is Maricaren Pallasigue, posted a photo on her social media account and shared that she tapped lawyers from Knowledge Advocate of Volunteer Lawyers for Free Legal Assistance.
It’s not clear what kind of representation Sabrina sought from lawyers Atty. Juman B. Paa, Atty. Ananias Birad Jr., and Atty. Patrio J Señeres Jr. when she posted the photo on her social media account last July 15, 2023.
But Sabrina M said in a report on Abante Tonite that she will not release a public apology, adding that her lawyer has told her not to comment on the issue anymore.
“Wala pong public apology na magaganap, kung ano man panakot na ikakaso nila, karapatan nila iyon at haharapin nalang namin ng mga abogado ko ang isasampa nila,” she said.
Also reported in Abante Tonite, Sabrina said she and her lawyer have also reviewed videos on YouTube “para alamin din (kung) sino (ang) pwede namin kasuhan”.

To recall, Sabrina M claimed during the media conference for her new film “Manang” that she was in a relationship with late actor Rico Yan for somewhat a long time after his breakup with Claudine, but that they chose to keep their romance in secret to protect both their careers.
Days after Sabrina’s revelation, Claudine’s close friend and lawyer Ferdinand Topacio went on public saying that he’s determined to sue Sabrina for “false claims” if she wouldn’t release a public apology.
Claudine thanked Sabrina M’s friend Katrina Paula after denying Sabrina’s claims that she dated the late actor.
