Leni Robredo on wedding of AJ Dee: ‘Ako yata pinakamatanda sa mga ninang, di bale, kumpare ko naman si Piolo Pascual’
LENI ROBREDO – The former Vice President was unfazed by being the “pinakamatanda” (oldest) among the principal sponsors at the wedding of actor and model AJ Dee.
Just recently, AJ and his Filipino-Norwegian wife, Olga Havran, tied the knot at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Quezon City. It was their second wedding following their civil wedding several years ago. The couple now has two children, Maximus James, and Alexandros Jaden. They migrated to Norway in 2015 and started a new life there.
Among those who attended the wedding was former Vice President Leni Robredo. She went to the social networking site, Facebook, where she posted photos showing herself with AJ and Olga, as well as other godparents and bridesmaids of the newlyweds. The former vice president mentioned that she has known the Dee family, including AJ and Enchong, since they all lived in Naga.
Robredo praised the kindness of the Dee brothers and how they grew up to be intelligent, respectful, and courteous young men. She fondly remembered their days as swimming parents when they frequented the pool together.
Despite not seeing each other often since the Dee brothers moved to Manila, they have managed to stay in touch. Enchong, despite his fame, has remained humble and has been of great help to Robredo.
During the wedding, Leni Robredo couldn’t help but express her excitement as a fangirl when she saw Piolo Pascual, the Ultimate Leading Man, standing as one of the godparents for AJ’s wedding. She jokingly mentioned that she might be the oldest among the godparents but took pride in having Piolo Pascual as her fellow compadre.
“Ako yata pinakamatanda sa mga ninang. Di bale, kumpare ko naman si Piolo Pascual (as a certified Papa P fan). Congratulations, AJ and Olga!” she noted.
