Julie Anne San Jose: “Secure ako kasi matagal na kaming magkaibigan.”
JULIE ANNE SAN JOSE – The Kapuso actress-singer said that she’s “confident” and “secure” of her current boyfriend, actor Rayver Cruz.
Celebrity couple Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose both star in the upcoming movie “The Cheating Game”, marking their first big screen appearance together.
“The Cheating Game”, which will hit theaters on July 26, 2023, is produced by GMA Public Affairs and is directed and written by Director Rod Marmol, with original story by Shao Masula.
During the media conference for the upcoming movie, she said that she’s “secure” of her current partner because they have been friends for a long time. She also believes that friendship is the best foundation of a relationship.

According to the actress, she and her partner don’t need to pretend as they already know each other. She added that comfort and being honest to each other is also important as well.
“Dito kasi hindi ko na kailangang mag-pretend, hindi na rin nya kailangang mag-pretend, kilala na namin yung bawat isa,” she said. “Importante rin yung comfort and honesty sa isa’t-isa kaya confident ako and secure.”
In a report on GMA Entertainment, Julie Anne said in an online press conference for the film that cheating is a “non-negotiable” for her in relationships and moving on from betrayal can be hard for some people.
The actress went on to share an advice on how to heal from cheating, saying that a person should surround himself/herself with loved ones who can support his/her healing because it’s important to have a support system.
“Always be with your friends, your loved ones, your family. Sila ‘yung talagang dadamay sayo sa struggles na hinaharap mo,” she said.
