Here’s the message of Jormiel Labador to supporters of Awra Briguela
JORMIEL LABADOR – The brother of motivational speaker Rendon Labador voiced his criticism towards those who supported Awra Briguela, the Kapamilya actor involved in a heated confrontation in Poblacion, Makati last week.
In a video, Jormiel directly addressed the supporters of Awra, expressing his belief that the actor deserved to be incarcerated once again for his actions at the height of the incident. Addressing those who stood with Awra, Jormiel emphatically stated, “Ibalik niyo sa kulungan.”
Jormiel questioned the circumstances surrounding Awra’s release on Saturday, pointing out that courts are typically closed during weekends. He also questioned how bail could have been posted during that time.
He further expressed his perception that famous individuals are given special treatment, being released as soon as possible while those who are not well-known face more severe consequences, emphasizing that everyone who supports Awra should reevaluate their position as his actions were inexcusable and should not be tolerated.
However, it should be noted that Sandiganbayan Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang has already clarified the misconception that courts are closed on Saturdays. She explained that courts still operate with reduced staff on Saturdays, allowing for the possibility of posting bail for certain accused individuals,
As of press time, Awra has chosen to remain silent regarding the incident that was captured on CCTV cameras. In the videos posted by social media influencer Xian Gaza on his Facebook page, it can be deduced that Awra and his friends were among those who started the fight.
