Valentine Rosales gave a comment on the arrest of Awra Briguela and then apologized

VALENTINE ROSALES – The controversial social media personality apologized to Awra Briguela for his insensitive comment following the latter’s arrest.

Awra, whose real name is McNeal Briguela was involved in an altercation outside a bar in Makati City recently. Due to the incident, he was arrested by the authorities. The Kapamilya talent engaged in a physical altercation with an individual named Mark Christian Ravana and his companions.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), Briguela and his friends approached Ravana and demanded to remove his shirt. When Ravana declined, Briguela purportedly pursued him and forcibly tore his shirt, leading to an intense verbal altercation that escalated with the involvement of Briguela’s friends

In response, Ravana and Angelo Nino Gulmatico, a bouncer at the bar, sought assistance from the Poblacion Police Substation, prompting a swift response from the officers. However, Briguela resisted arrest and allegedly used offensive language while the police endeavored to place him in handcuffs.

Among those who reacted on his arrest is social media personality Valentine Rosales. In a now-deleted post, he noted: “Ayan masyadong kasing matapang at nagmamalimis sa socmed pero makalat sa totoong buhay, kaya mas ok yung madami galit sayo sa socmed pero pag nakita ka sa personal sasabihin ang baet mo pala.”

Eventually, he issued an apology due to the backlash he received from his insensitive remark. “I’m sorry for my insensitive comment I deleted it na, I should’ve not made any comments dahil wala naman akong alam sa nangyari super sorry talaga! You’re really a true friend and I hope everything turns out fine,” he noted.
