Sen. JV Ejercito Comments on the New Hosts of Eat Bulaga

Here’s the comment of Sen. JV Ejercito on the new hosts of Eat Bulaga

JV EJERCITO – The senator took to the microblogging site, Twitter wherein he expressed his reaction to the new lineup of hosts introduced in the longest-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.” He pointed out that some of the new hosts may need nameplates, implying that they are relatively unknown compared to the original hosts.

Ejercito’s sentiments resonated with viewers who watched the revamped “Eat Bulaga” program, which was rolled out by TAPE Inc. following the departure of the show’s beloved original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and other longtime cast members.

The newly introduced hosts included Paolo Contis, the Legaspi twins (Cassy and Mavy Legaspi), comedians Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar, actress-model Alexa Miro (who is rumored to be the girlfriend of presidential son Sandro Marcos), and the girl group XOXO.

However, Ejercito couldn’t help but draw comparisons between the new hosts and the original hosts and co-hosts. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “The ‘new’ Eat Bulaga! Parang kailangan nila lagyan ng name plates ang ibang talents,” accompanied by a peace sign emoji.

He further expressed his opinion by stating, “Mahirap ata tapatan TVJ, Alan K, Pao, Jose & Wally, etc…Eat Bulaga is really TVJ (Tito, Vic & Joey).” With this statement, he highlighted the significant impact and legacy of the original hosts, emphasizing that they had become synonymous with the show itself.

Meanwhile, in another post, Senator JV Ejercito appealed that netizens shouldn’t bash the talents of the new Eat Bulaga. He exclaimed, “Hanapbuhay nila as talents.”
