KRIS AQUINO – The former actress-host said that her youngest son Bimby started “rebuilding a relationship” with his father James Yap.

James Yap and Kris Aquino had a civil wedding in 2005, welcomed Bimby two years later, broke up in 2010, and their marriage was annulled in 2012.

In the caption of her social media post, she said that Bimby took the first step towards “rebuilding a relationship” with his father. Although the former actress-host didn’t mention any names on her social media post, she told the public that it will be easy for them to figure out who she’s referring to.

Kris also stressed that she knows how it feels to not be with a father, and that she wouldn’t make her son go through the same thing. According to her, her son had the freedom to decide from the time he was 8 years old.

From the time Bimb was 8, he had the freedom to decide…” she said. “Now at 16 I told him, ‘When someone reaches out after 7 years, and there’s a chance for peace, then everyone wins’.”

In the same post, the former actress-host also clarified her relationship with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste.

While she didn’t mention any names in her post, Kris pointed out how someone “spoke about what’s supposed to be his ‘taking care of me in LA’ plus ‘our happy and full of love relationship'” without her consent or knowledge.

According to her, they’re still adjusting to each other’s already set habits and ways. The former actress-host also said that there have been “unavoidable conflicts” recently.

I’m hopeful we can still work through our differences, though a part of me realizes the lack of wisdom in embarking on a relationship while undergoing treatment,” Kris said in her post.
