Fish Vendor Expresses Joy After Her Daughter Graduates as Magna Cum Laude
FISH VENDOR – A fish vendor shouts and cusses after learning that her daughter graduates as Magna Cum Laude.
The heartwarming news of Mary Joy Suson, a fish vendor at the local market, achieving the prestigious title of Magna Cum Laude, quickly spread like wildfire. She excitedly shared the wonderful news with her mother, capturing the emotional moment on video, where tears of joy flowed freely.
Mary Joy had a meeting for the graduation, and that’s when she found out that she is one of the Magna Cum Laude graduates. The graduating student was so eager to tell her mom the good news.
“Nagkaroon po kami ng meeting para sa graduation at nalaman ko po na isa ako sa ga-graduate na Magna Cum Laude. Sobrang excited akong sabihin kay mama ang isang magandang balita kaya naman chinat ko po sya at sinabing “Ma pag-uwi ko po ay may sasabihin ako sa iyong magandang balita,” Suson said.
The first thing she sent was the list that was shown to them during the meeting, but her mom couldn’t read it clearly. So, Mary Joy sent her a picture of her honor received from Samafil and that’s when her mom’s reaction happened.
“At yan na nga po ang naging reaksyon ni mama. Napamura, napaiyak at muntikan na nga pong maging libre yung galunggong na tinda niya sa sobrang tuwa dahil sa nakita at nalaman niya. Sobrang saya po talaga ni mama dahil natupad ko yung pangarap naming dalawa na makapagtapos ako ng pag-aaral kahit na may sarili na akong pamilya.” Suson added.
