Lady Netizen React to Skyrocketing Electric Bill For Using Inverter Aircon

A lady netizen reacted to their skyrocketing electric bill allegedly caused by their use of an inverter air conditioner amid hot weather.

Recently, a Facebook user named Agnes Peralta shared a post that has garnered various reactions from other netizens. The post featured a picture of their skyrocketing electric bill, which was apparently caused by their use of an inverter air conditioner.

According to Agnes, she was surprised when her mother sent a picture of their electric bill to their family group chat. She said that they had never received such a high bill before, and she was worried about it.

PEralta even called her mother to ask about it, fearing that they might have to resort to using only electric fans again, which could lead to health problems, such as heatstroke.

However, she was surprised by her mother’s reaction. Instead of scolding her for their high electric bill, her mother apparently understood why it was necessary for them to use the air conditioner, especially now that her siblings and their children had returned home from abroad.

Agnes also mentioned that she believes it’s better to pay a high electric bill than to end up paying a larger amount in hospital bills if someone gets sick due to the extreme heat.

While the use of inverter air conditioners is generally more energy-efficient than traditional models, it’s important to note that their efficiency also depends on how they are used. In this case, it seems that Agnes and her family needed to use the air conditioner to avoid health risks, especially during a hot summer.
