Lady Netizen Shares Tips on How She Reduce Her Meralco Bill
MERALCO ELECTRICITY BILLS – A lady netizen has shared some tips on how she was able to reduce her monthly electric bill.
A Facebook user named Cherry Mary shared the photos of her electric bills and meter after she was able to reduce her electric bill. The post goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Cherry revealed that her electricity bill for the month of April 2022 reached P1, 674. Her current bill is quite different compared to her previous bills, which do not exceed P500. She decided to take action regarding the matter.
Mary checked her electric meter number from her billing statement of account and compared the current reading with the previous readings. She took pictures as evidence before heading to Meralco office to complain about her bill.
The lady netizen also advised the consumers to avoid showing rude behavior to the staff while making an appeal. She said that Meralco will immediately address the issue if the claim will be proven. She saved P 1,468.30 this month for being vigilant.

From 1,674.40 Pesos naging 206.10 na lang ang binayaran ko.
HOW?
1. Check your Electric Meter Number na makikita sa inyong billing statement of account.
2. I-check and compare ninyo ang inyong previous reading at current reading kasama ang reading galing sa inyong metro. Dyan makikita kung gaano kalaki ang dinagdag sa inyong reading. (Ganun nga ba talaga ang naging consumption mo for this month?)Kung hindi, picturan kung kinakailangan. This will serve as evidence once pumunta kayo sa Meralco at ipakita sa kanila na may mali sa reading ng inyong metro.
3.Kung makakita ng hindi pagkakatulad at hindi pagsang ayon sa inyong reading from your billing statement of account at sa inyong metro, pumunta agad kayo sa Meralco at daretcho na po kayo sa Customer Service.
Lastly, huwag po natin agad sila pagalitan or awayin dahil once naman po may mali sa part nila agad naman po nila itong aayusin.
