Barbie Imperial reacts to the dismissal of charges filed by Debbie Garcia

BARBIE IMPERIAL – The actress expressed her great joy over the dismissal of three complaints filed against her by Vivamax star Debbie Garcia in the prosecutor’s office. The complaints included slight physical injury, grave oral defamation, and grave slander by deed.

On May 24, 2023, Ogie Diaz released a “copy” of the prosecutor’s decision on his vlog, stating that all of Debbie’s complaints against Barbie were dismissed due to insufficient evidence.

On Thursday evening, May 25, 2023, PEP.ph caught up with Barbie at Ara Mina’s surprise birthday party, hosted by her husband, Dave Almarinez. The party took place at Manila House Private Members Club in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Barbie Imperial was asked for her reaction to the dismissal of the complaints against her. She felt relieved because according to her, she did nothing wrong against the actress.

“Of course, magaan siya for me kasi knowing na hindi ko yun ginawa sa isang tao, tapos lumabas yung balita, parang siyempre hindi na ako proud na ganun yung nangyari. ‘But I’m very happy and sobrang gaan sa pakiramdam na na-dismiss na yung kaso,” she said. “And actually that’s all I want to say about it kasi never ako nagpa-interview about it, like, ayoko talaga siyang patulan,” she added.

Meanwhile, Debbie’s camp, represented by her legal counsel, Atty. Catherine Amen of Amen Pablo-Santos Perez Law, stated that they have not yet received a copy of the resolution mentioned in Ogie’s vlog. As a result, they are currently unaware of the truth surrounding the reported dismissal of Debbie’s complaint against Barbie.

However, if the reported resolution is indeed true, they will take further action by filing the necessary pleading before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Quezon City.
