QUEZON CITY – The assistant manager of a popular fast food restaurant in QC has been arrested by Cubao Police Station (PS-7) operatives for allegedly stealing P100,000 worth of earnings.

Speaking of which, an assistant manager of a popular fast food restaurant in Quezon City has been arrested by Cubao Police Station (PS-7) operatives for allegedly stealing P100,000 worth of earnings.

The suspect was identified as Mary Grace Belarmino Perfiñan, 35, the manager and head cashier of Mang Inasal SM Cubao branch and a resident of Brgy. San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal, according to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director PBGEN Nicolas D Torre III.

Based on the report of the owner of the Mang Inasal SM Cubao Branch, Shiela Atienza, to PS-7, it was discovered during an audit report of sales on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at around 1:30 in the afternoon that P100,000 in cash was missing.

Investigation revealed that only Perfiñan, who had been the assistant manager and head cashier of the restaurant for almost 12 years, was in charge of the food store’s sales. As a result, the restaurant owner immediately filed a complaint against the suspect at the police station, and she was subsequently arrested by the police. According to balita.net.ph, Perfiñan is currently detained in the PS-7 detention cell and will face theft charges.
