Here’s the reaction of Maegan Aguilar and her husband Oliver Nieto on “fake news” about them
MAEGAN AGUILAR – The daughter of legendary OPM singer Freddie Aguilar and her husband Oliver Nieto clarified some issues thrown at them since the positive hair follicle test episode in Raffy Tulfo in Action.
Maegan Aguilar is the second child of Freddie Aguilar and the first one to follow in her father’s footsteps when it comes to music. On the other hand, Freddie Aguilar, whose real name is Ferdinand Pascual Aguilar, is a well-known Pinoy folk musician who became famous for his songs “Bayan Ko” and “Anak.” He started performing in public in 1973 when he worked at the Hobbit House in Ermita, Manila.
According to the couple, this is their first video addressing the issue, and the previous videos circulating on YouTube were fabricated by other vloggers to earn money. Maegan mentioned that they were not informed about the discussion during that episode of RTIA, and they believe that there was sabotage involved.

Meanwhile, it can be recalled that it was in February this year when Maegan made headlines after asking for the help of Senator Raffy Tulfo through his public service program. The senator, on the other hand, promised to help her financially as long as she tests negative for drug use.
However, it turned out in her hair follicle test that she took an illegal substance within the 90-day period. This prompted the neophyte politician to take back his promise.
According to him, he will not give any livelihood assistance to Maegan but because of his kind heart, he told her that he’s going to shoulder her rehabilitation. Unfortunately, Maegan refused to undergo rehabilitation as well.
