Raffy Tulfo will no longer give financial assistance to Maegan Aguilar
MAEGAN AGUILAR – The daughter of OPM legend Freddie Aguilar failed to get assistance from Senator Raffy Tulfo after testing positive in the hair follicle test.
It was on February 24 when she underwent hair follicle test. Days later, the result came and it turned out that she’s positive which means she had taken an illegal substance within 90 days before undergoing the test.
Since she tested positive, the senator said that he will not give her any financial support. But because of his kind heart, Tulfo said he would consider financing the rehabilitation at the same time the medication of Aguilar.
“Pero kung bibigyan ng pera, bibigyan ng kabuhayan at kung ano-ano pa, hindi ko gagawin ‘yun,” he said. “Sa gamutan tutulong po ako, para sa rehab tutulong po ako.”
But the senator became more displeased when the daughter of Freddie Aguilar refused to undergo a rehabilitation. She insisted that she only take it once during the 90-day period.
Maegan said she was forced to take the drugs by someone who gave her temporary shelter. “Wala kaming choice, it was someone who helped us pero ganoon po ‘yung situation ng kanilang kabuhayan,” she stressed.
Despite the result, Maegan still plead the senator for assistance because for her it’s better compared to undergoing a rehab. But the senator did not buy the explanation of the OPM legend’s daughter.
“Nagsinungaling kayo sa akin once, anong guarantee na hindi kayo magsinungaling for the second time,” Tuflo said.

In the end, she agreed to undergo rehabilitation after hearing the words of an expert.
