LIE REPOSPOSA – The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate recently revealed that she’s not yet engaged to her foreigner boyfriend.
Lie joined “Pinoy Big Brother” in 2019 and placed 6th in the finale of the Kapamilya reality series.
On Wednesday, she clarified that she just received a promise ring from her foreigner boyfriend and not an engagement ring. She also shared that her partner gave the ring and assured her to be his future wife.
In an interview on “Magandang Buhay”, the former PBB housemate said that she posted about the moment where her partner put the promise ring to her and netizens misinterpreted her post about it.
“Yung nangyari po kasi roon parang nag-assure siya sa akin na ‘I want you to be my future wife,’ ganun. Parang ‘okay lang ba sa iyo?’ ‘Yes of course.’ Tapos inilagay niya na ‘yung singsing,” she explained. “Tapos pag-post ko ay na-misinterpret ng mga tao, kaya dinilete ko po ‘yung post. Kasi promise ring.“
She went on to share how she met her partner.

According to her, she met her British boyfriend Paul Joshua Marsden on Instagram. Lie recalled that she started to search the name “Paul” on Instagram since she was bored at the time.
Lie admitted that she made the first move by giving a “heart” reaction to Paul’s Instagram Stories when she visited his account. She recalled that Paul told her that he saw her account, followed her, and gave “heart” reactions to all her posts at that time.
“Tapos nag-story din ako. Tapos chinat niya ako ‘you’re so beautiful.’ Eh di finallow back ko. Tapos doon na kami mag-start ng conversation,” Lie said. “Ang gaan niya lang kausap. Parang boy version ko siya.”
Lie went on to share that Paul visited the Philippines to finally meet her two months after they met each other online.
The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate admitted that he’s “pogi” when she saw him in the photos he posted online. However, she said that he’s “sobrang pogi” and “flawless” when she met him in person.
