Kristel Fulgar: “I got to experience to be at my happiest but didn’t expect to be at my loneliest as well”
KRISTEL FULGAR – The actress recently released a vlog where she shared that she has ended her 6-month stay in South Korea.
To recall, the actress traveled to South Korea in October 2022 to study the Korean language at Sogang University.
Kristel shared in a YouTube vlog titled “Bye Korea.. (thanks for the memories)” that she already left South Korea and she already returned to the Philippines. But before she left South Korea, she spent time with her schoolmates and friends in Seoul and also took her final exams at the university.
As seen in her vlog, her close friend Yohan Kim accompanied her to the airport for her flight back to the Philippines.

The actress went to share that her 6-month trip to South Korea has taught her a lot of things. According to her, she got to experience to be at her happiest but she didn’t expect that she got to also experience to be at her loneliest as well.
“This trip to Korea has taught me a lot of things,” she said. “I got to experience to be at my happiest but didn’t expect to be at my loneliest as well.”
She also said that all of those happenings helped her to meet the better version of herself — a “stronger and more independent” version of herself.
To recall, the actress and content creator shared in a previous virtual interview with CNN Philippines that she described her stay in South Korea as a journey of self-discovery.
“Marami po akong adjustments like nagluluto po ako ng pagkain for myself, I do grocery shopping, commuting kasi dito po wala akong car,” Kristel shared. “Pero for me everything is doing okay, parang I get to discover more about myself. May mga bagay na kaya kong gawin pala. Ngayon alam ko na.“
Kristel was also asked about her plans after her stay in South Korea. According to her, she still has many countries that she wants to visit but she really missed acting.
